Catching up! (7 manicures)

So ever since I found out that I have a condition that will not go away after several months, I've been slacking on my blog >.< I know, it horrible. I like writing so I missed it a lot!
Well I will be recapping the manicures I've done that I have not blogged about from order of oldest til the most recent one I have done. *If you have any questions about any mani's I have done please don't hesitate to ask :) Okay here we go!

To start off this blog post I will be showing you a manicure I did. What inspired me was my condition that I found out I have on June 2nd, 2013.  Since I believe in God and Jesus I did a manicure dealing with them. The base color I used is called Gargantuan green apple by OPI and my middle finger I used White on by Sally Hansen. On my pointer finger I drew red roses on the bottom and the word "Faith" on the nail since I have faith that I will get better soon. Then there is a rosary with 2 extra small caviar beads on the rosary, a cross with rhinestones on it and finally more roses on my pinky fingernail.
I then wanted to try out a matte top coat and it looked amazing! I also pictured my thumb in the pic with several black crosses. I know, I know they are not perfect lol

Okay next manicure is a simple dot design (or dot-icure). I was probably lazy that day and did something so simple lol. I messed up by adding those small circles on the design but ehh it's okay :) The polish I used is called Michelle by Julep it's a very dark navy blue almost black polish. The polish was a bit runny and it was a mess cleaning it up! But oh well :D The white dots were done by dotting tools which I purchased on eBay. The white polish is White on by Sally Hansen Xtreme wear.

The next manicure I will be showing you is a special one that is dear to my heart. Since World's Oceans day was on June 8th I created a manicure supporting the cause! I am an ocean lover, I love everything about it, the beach, the sea animals, the sea shells, EVERYTHING! lol In IG I added a random fact that is really crazy if you think about it, •Random fact: We have only explored less than 5% of the Earth's ocean, imagine what else is down there• So basically who knows what lies under this world that we don't already know about, yikes >.<

Well on my nails I have 3 different shades of blue and a blue glitter polish. The art I did was small starfish, sea dollars and sea shells. I also added a few loose glitters to my accent fingernail.

Here I have a manicure I did using acrylic paint. The white base is the only thing that is actual polish which is the only white polish I only use which is Xtreme wear White on.
This manicure is basically saying let me free, and fly away. As you can see the birds (Some look weird I know lol) are flying out of the cage. I also dedicated this manicure to everyone who is fighting a tough battle, not only me but those who have it worse then me :( Please stay strong!

Here I have a purple ombre chevron and zebra print design! The chevron is hand painted so it took a while. The black is acrylic paint while the ombre is China Glaze (My favorite brand evaaaa!)

Here I have a black & white manicure. I used black circle studs, black and white glitter ombre and some other designs I did on the last part of my 2 fingers lol. Those designs came out of no where haha.

AND FINALLLYYYYY! Da - da dummmmmmm, lol this manicure I did 2 days ago. I did a pink and yellow triangle and circle manicure. Many people told me that it reminded them of the 80's which I think.... yes?

And well that's it! If you read to here I want to thank you a lot! I appreciate it. I will be continuing my blog every time I do new nails so please make sure to follow me on here and like my page on FACEBOOK just click here <<<<< I only have 1 like, boohooo lol okay well have a good weekend everyone

Pink & Girly :)

While I was looking at my IG, I saw that I haven't done nails with any pink polish. I came up with this idea in under 10 seconds (I know, impossible lol) I wanted to try out a polish I bought a long time ago at K-mart but never wore it. Below is the picture of the glitter I used which I ended up LOVING IT!

For the pink polish on my pointer and pinky fingernails I used one of my favorite pinks, which is a creamy pink (I love creamy pinks hehe) I used Garter Belt by China Glaze & for the rest of my fingers I used the pink glitter polish called Fairy dust by Jordana 'Glitter's' collection (see pic above). I then decided to add some rhinstones, I used a heart, square and a star. The rhinestones were bought on Ebay.

I admit, it was really hard trying to capture the true color of the pink glitter. The glitter is a bit more of a darker pink but oh well. Here is another picture with my thumb (lol)

& that's it! Thanks for reading and I hope you have a fab day -Bere @Bgnails <3

Another tribal nail art design!

So the neon tribal nail design was okay. I wanted to try again and then suddenly I saw a shirt of a friend on IG and decided to copy her shirt tribal design. This took a little bit more time then the other design I did but hey, that's what nail art is about right? hehe. Well here is a look at my tribal nail design.

For my base color I used Decades of Dysfunction by ORLY over a white polish (White on by Sally Hansen)  The black and white is acrylic paint. It is much easier using acrylic paint then regular nail polish. This is also my first time using acrylic paint. I will be using acrylic paint in the future because I absolutely loved it! To finish off the manicure I added a topcoat, as it dried I wasn't as pleased. I then decided to add a matte top coat by NYC 'Matte me crazy' and it looked way better then having a shiny topcoat. In my opinion matte topcoat looks ever better with tribal nail art/design.

I also wanted to show you guys my thumb because my thumb is never pictures as much as my four fingers. I just added a random triangle for it to match the rest of the figures used on the nails.

And I have an extra view of the mani just because :)

I hope you liked this mani & sorry for being late on posting this, have a great day - Bere @Bgnails <3

Neon Tribal Print

Happy Saturday everyone :) My Saturday was busy! but any who, I came here to present to you my neon tribal nails. These were done because of Kaitlin Ferland Twin which she wanted to have several twins creating neon tribal nails, so I was like what the heck. I have done tribal nails before but oh gosh, they are horrifying. Take a look below >.<  Good thing I improved :) It takes practice!

Let me start of telling you the color of neons I used. On my pointer fingernail I used Summer Peach by Sinful Colors which I purchased at a dollar tree store. On my middle and ring fingernail (also thumb) I have on Celtic Sun by China Glaze, one of the first China Glaze I have bought. & on my pinky fingernail I have on the infamous Flip Flop Fantasy also by China Glaze. For the neons to stand out, use a white base and then use the neon polish for a POP!

Now to the tribal print part. I did several different figures, such as random lines, random dots, some colorblock, zig zags, triangles, etc. It takes patience to do tribal nails. The black that I used was just a random striper I bought at a Walmart. I know that some lines aren't perfect, but I will be re-doing at some point.

I also wanted to try it with a matte topcoat which I think I liked the best, I don't know if you do too. Here is the picture with the matte topcoat. The matte topcoat I used is the one from NYC Matte me crazy.

So there are my neon tribal nails, hope you guys like them and have a great Saturday - Bere @Bgnails <3

The Royal Saran Wrap manicure

When I think of the manicure I have today, I think of royalty. These colors look great together and when I look at them, I think dannnggg I feel like royalty LOL. Okay well this manicure was simple, you just use saran wrap and create a gorgeous masterpiece.

The colors I used are Gumdrop by ORLY which is the pretty blue on my pointer and pinky fingernails & a gorgeous white called White on by Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear. I used 2 coats to create such a perfect base.

To create this mani, you just need some saran wrap. Paint a coat of whatever color you desire over your base color and ball up the saran and start pressing the saran wrap on the wet nail polish. The polish has to be wet to get your desire look. Keep repeating it until you are satisfied with what you have. I used 3 colors, white, the blue and a gold called Golden-I by Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear. To finish this manicure off I just added 2 gold studs that I got from Claire's.
Just a different hand pose and my thumb is making an appearance :O I really like this mani <3

If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask me :) Have a good day - Bere @Bgnails <3
